Coming to your mailbox August 2026

Hey ferns,

Victor here from the sword fern collective! Here’s what’s in the mail for Fern Club members this August!

What is it? It’s a mail club! But it’s also a way to support our work, and get access to exclusive member-only sword fern perks! Every quarter, I’ll snail-mail you a curated envelope to wherever you live (in Canada) that will include at least: one exclusive zine, one exclusive sticker, a poem, and a seasonal surprise! These will be limited-batch exclusive items that can only be obtained through the Fern Club and will not appear again (unless you find us in person?)!!

How can I become a member? All you have to do is be an active member on the 1st of the mailout month. Sign up here!
The current mailout schedule is May, August, November, and February. That means to receive our very first mailout, you need to be subscribed by May 1st. Mailouts will be shipped mid-month.

How much is it? It’s $11 a month. As you may know, our collective is volunteer-run and hundreds of unpaid hours go into making our events possible. This membership not only covers the labour that goes into each mailout, but will support our collective’s ongoing work and events: paying for artist honoraria, snacks, venue fees, operational costs, and hopefully one day actually paying the core team for our work!

So if you’ve been wanting to fall back in love with analog, read some interesting takes, or rep the fern, now’s your chance! Sign up today!
