Sea Level Ride

On July 6th, 2025, sword fern collective co-leads Paige and Erica are hosting a group bike ride throughout Richmond around places that are at risk from sea level rise.

This ride is to help us connect with the unceded territories where we live, build community, and get stoked on working for people and planet! ✊🌏🌊

  • layers – dress for the weather!

This is a 60km gravel ride across flat, relatively smooth terrain. please respect your limits – we welcome folks who want to push themselves, but please make sure you feel comfortable spending several hours on your bike.

While most of the route is separated pathways and bike lanes, there are some sections where we are riding on the road (<10km). Please make sure you are comfortable with this before signing up for this ride!

We’ll maintain a chill pace with several breaks. all bikes with tire size 35mm+ and/or experience gravel riding are welcome. 🙂
